Jaman Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives. Though formally established in 2012, our journey began in 1997 as an unregistered group committed to social service. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to bring positive change to the Sahid Matangini Block and Kolaghat Block, ensuring access to quality education, essential healthcare, and environmental sustainability.
Our mission is to empower marginalized individuals by providing educational opportunities, healthcare support, and environmental awareness programs. Through community-driven initiatives, we strive to create lasting impact and improve lives.

Message from the Founder
Distinguished guests, esteemed colleagues, volunteers, and supporters,
It is with a heart full of gratitude and pride that I stand before you today as the Founder and President of Jaman Foundation. When we established this organization in 2012, our mission was clear—to serve the backward and financially disadvantaged communities and to create sustainable impact in the key areas of health, education, and the environment.
Over the past 28 years, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Together, we have strived to bring meaningful change to the lives of those who needed it the most. Today, as we conclude this chapter, I wish to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements, and thank those who have been instrumental in our success.
From our humble beginnings, Jaman Foundation was built on the values of empathy, dedication, and a shared vision to uplift communities that have been left behind. We took small but firm steps, focusing on key areas that significantly influence quality of life:
- Health:
We have worked tirelessly to provide accessible healthcare to underserved populations. From free health camps to awareness programs on hygiene and nutrition, our efforts have touched thousands of lives. - Education:
Education has always been the cornerstone of empowerment. Through scholarships, literacy campaigns, and school support programs, we have enabled hundreds of children to dream and aspire for a brighter future. - Environment:
Recognizing the interconnection between communities and their surroundings, we launched initiatives to promote clean and green environments, including tree plantations, waste management drives, and campaigns for climate awareness.
Celebrating Our Achievements
None of this would have been possible without the collective efforts of our team and the unwavering support of our partners, donors, and volunteers. Together, we have achieved milestones that we can all be proud of:
- Over 87 families provided with access to quality healthcare.
- 712 children supported in their educational journey.
- 1225 trees planted and multiple campaigns for a healthier environment successfully conducted.
Each of these accomplishments stands as a testament to what is possible when compassionate individuals come together for a common cause.
I extend my deepest thanks to every individual and organization that has supported us along the way. To our team members, your dedication and hard work have been the backbone of this foundation. To our volunteers, your selfless service has inspired us all. To our donors and sponsors, your generosity has been the fuel that kept us going.
And most importantly, to the communities we served, thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be a part of your lives. Your resilience and strength have motivated us to do more, to be better.
While this marks the end of Jaman Foundation as an active organization, our mission does not end here. We may not operate as we once did, but the seeds we have sown will continue to grow and bear fruit. I urge all of you to carry forward the spirit of this foundation in your own ways. Let us continue to champion the causes of health, education, and the environment in whatever capacity we can.
As I close, I want to leave you with one thought: Change begins with each of us. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Let us all pledge to keep working towards a world that is healthier, educated, and sustainable for everyone.
